A set depicting the native rabbits of Dreamsong; these lapun have been tainted by the excess mirajin in the atmosphere. They’ve become odd little jackalopes with the exposure, and have changed their behaviour, gathering in herds to graze on the crystallised foliage and warding off predators (where they can) with their new antlers.

A revamp of the original kabinx, plus a new colour that didn’t get made the first time around!

The kabinx are a take on the concept of a “cabbit”, and are popularly believed to actually be descended from hybrids of ketts and lapun. They have long, bunny-like ears, naturally bobbed tails, and lack pawpads on their feet. Kabinx move in hops and bounds due to the length of their hind legs. They are ferocious hunters and are very popular with farmers for their skill at controlling pest species.

The vital (far left) has reverted to a more ancestral, sabre-toothed form, while the tainted (far right) seems to have taken on a few voluxi traits.

It’s funny to look back and see just how much you’ve improved over the course of a year(?).

New hyaen art for Valenth’s splash page rotation! This one replaces the old concept art, which was a bit dated.
Hyenas are my favourite animals, and I’m really kind of proud of my improvement at drawing them between then and now. :B

The last six constellations of the Valenth 2012 Starstone Collection, now drawing to a close. (see the first six here!)

This series revolved around Valenth’s own zodiac and the creatures represented within its constellations. Natural (middle top) depicted each constellation in the flesh, Vital (top left) as a constellation with asterisms, and Tainted (top right) as a golem made of that sign’s chosen stone. The beta form (bottom) is a fetish carving of the constellation— the source of the series title.

These six starstones represent (top left to bottom right) July, August, September, October, November, and December.

(If you’re a collector and you’re missing any of the starstones, the entire set is available now until March!)

My adoptables for this year’s Midwintre Celebration, the klauri!

I first conceptualised these in 2010; I wasn’t happy with the first concept, though, so I shelved it until I had a better grasp of what I wanted them to look like and how to make them that way.

I think it was worth the wait, don’t you? :B
